June COVID-19 Update

First, we are continuing to pray for you and for our nation and world as we all deal with the current COVID-19 pandemic crisis. We ask that you continue to join us in prayer for each other and the world around us.
Second, we have been asked about when the church might be able to open the doors again for an in person worship service. After much discussion and guidance from healthcare experts, government officials, and the Holy Spirit, we have decided to offer an in person worship experience starting Sunday, July 5, 2020 at 11:30 AM. This will not be church as normal per se, but it will be an opportunity for you to attend an in person parking lot worship service if you so choose.
We will offer a drive-in style worship service in the churches parking lot Sundays at 11:30 AM with safe practices in place. This will mean that we ask families and friends to stay together in their cars. We will not have children”s church at this time. Instead, we encourage you to come and worship together as a family. Your children will certainly remember those times when they sat in worship with you. Parents, please keep your children with you at all times while at the church. They will likely be tempted to run off to see their friends, but we ask that each household stick together in order to reduce the spread of germs from household to household.
In order to reduce the spread of germs at this time, we ask that everyone refrain from hugging, handshaking, high-fiving, and instead greet each other with an “air high five.” No, we don’t like it either, but during this time, we can love our neighbors by abiding by some basic social distancing. That means we encourage people who aren’t part of the same household (or car load) to try to keep a minimum of 6 feet from each other throughout the building.
Regarding masks, you are required to wear a mask, when entering the building at this time.
Regarding the building, the building will be disinfected before and after every service. Restrooms are open for use as needed.
Regarding the online live stream, we will continue to offer the live stream of our worship service. We encourage you to consider it as an option and subscribe to our YouTube channel.

8th Year Church Anniversary Celebration

You’re Invited to Celebrate…

Prayer Tower Church 8th Year Anniversary

November 25, 2018

Greeting in the Precious Name of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ:

It has been eight years, since Prayer Tower Church opened its door to the public on November 28, 2010. We have a reason to celebrate God’s faithfulness to our Ministry. We’ve seen God do mighty works and lives transformed through the preached word of God. We’ve seen baptisms, heard testimonies and witnessed a new outlook to life through the eyes of Christ.

So, we invite you to come fellowship, feast on the word of God, celebrate his mighty works in prayer and song as we lift up the name of Jesus Christ on Sunday November 25th, 2018 from 3:00pm-5:00pm at 12 North Second Street in Laurel, MD.

Our desire is to glorify God in our celebration. In this regard, our worship will be enriched by your presence, since you have been and continue to be a part of God’s ministry here at Prayer Tower Church. We would love to have you join us in praising the Lord for all that He has done and is going to do in the future here at Prayer Tower Church.

My prayer is that as we worship God in spirit and in truth; that we examine our life and celebrate all that the Lord has done in us and through us as we continue to do the work God has called us to do, in Jesus Name.

Please RSVP by Friday November 16th by calling the church number at 240-583-0996!

May the Lord bless you and keep you and allow his face to shine upon you!

2016 40 Days of Fasting and Praying

Grace and Peace to you all.

The 40 days of fasting is from January 12 through February 20th. Each day we will begin the fast at midnight and break it at 6pm. The fast can be either “dry fast” or “liquid fast”. Please obey your doctor’s advice.

I have made a commitment to God to “pray more than I preach” and I am expecting God to do great things in your life.  I believe your testimony is not only your deliverance but it is also your weapon against the enemy. I look forward to hearing all the praise report as I know we serve a prayer answering God.

I am grateful to God to have completed a 40-day fast, along with many “Full Fast”, “Daniel’s” and “liquid-only” fasts, and I want to share with you some basic steps to successfully Fasting and Praying . Regardless of what fast you decide upon, that’s between you and the Lord.  However, I pray that our Lord’s most wonderful love and blessings will be poured out on you as you take this exciting step of faith.

Blessings, Pastor Jerome M. McLennon
